Hello! I’m Dina.

I am a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist fluent in Armenian of Western dialect, with specialized training in Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy.

I am thrilled to be a part of the Spark Therapy Collective team and love being able to collaborate with such a special group of professionals. Family means the world to me, and when I am not at work, you can usually find me spending time with them, doing yoga, making photo books, or traveling!

Availability: I provide virtual therapy via telehealth for clients in California.

Specialties

My Approach

Having provided speech and language services across a variety of environments, I value a collaborative and adaptable approach to therapy. I have extensive experience supporting children in areas such as articulation, social skills, and pragmatic language. I believe in working closely with families and multidisciplinary teams to ensure that the skills my patients learn in our sessions translate meaningfully into their everyday lives.

My Background

I was born and raised in Glendale, California, and I am proud to be a first-generation American. Before becoming a fully licensed SLP, I spent eight years working as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), with a primary focus on early intervention in both in-home and clinical settings. Today, alongside my work at Spark Therapy Collective, I also provide services in a school setting during the day, which gives me a wonderfully well-rounded perspective on the diverse needs of the children and families I serve.

Education, Credentials, and Trainings

I am an ASHA-certified and California-licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Communicative Disorders from California State University, Los Angeles, in 2016. After gaining valuable field experience, I went on to earn my Master’s degree in Communication Disorders from the University of St. Augustine in August 2021. Additionally, I have pursued specialized continuing education in Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy.
