Hello! I’m Gretchen.

I am a Speech-Language Pathologist and Orofacial Myofunctional Therapist who helps kids, teens, and adults breathe, sleep, eat, and talk better.

Originally from upstate New York and now residing in Maine, I love working directly with patients and collaborating with other professionals to help them thrive. When I am not working, you can often find me traveling the world (or back to New York to see family), lounging on the beach with a good book, watching Friends, or hanging out at my local yoga studio!

Availability: I provide virtual therapy via telehealth for clients in California and New York, and Maine.

My Approach

I strongly believe in the power of teamwork and whole-person care. My absolute favorite part of being a speech-language pathologist is collaborating with multidisciplinary teams of speech, occupational, behavioral, and physical therapists. By working closely with other providers and looking at the big picture, I strive to provide comprehensive, well-rounded therapy that truly supports my patients and their families.

My Background

I was born and raised in the small town of Lake George, New York. I first discovered my passion for speech therapy during my undergraduate studies while working as a preschool teacher and spending my summers at a camp for autistic children. Following graduate school, I have worked primarily in the pediatric outpatient setting, helping children achieve their communication and developmental goals.

Education, Credentials, and Trainings

I am an ASHA-certified Speech-Language Pathologist holding licensure in California, New York, and Maine. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York, and my Master of Science in Education in Communication Sciences and Disorders from The College of Saint Rose in Albany, New York. Additionally, I have pursued specialized continuing education and training in Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy.
